heritage sketchbook, 2023
as part of its traveling exhibitions, audemars piguet aimed to present its clients with sketches sourced from heritage archives, showcasing the diversity and richness of the brand’s designs. these sketches were reproduced in their original size and on the paper used at the time, compiled into a document for consultation. each design was meticulously recreated, preserving its essence in size, tone, and texture.
we created a document with a harmonious, rhythmic layout for 56 sketches, elegantly alternating between double-page spreads and carefully curated single or paired images. this unique approach offers viewers a captivating experience.
to design this prestigious publication, we utilized a specialty paper with a textile touch, eco-friendly, with a blind-embossed centered logo to create an elegant and subtle appearance. the first page of the brochure is made from a translucent paper with a unique cloudy effect that imitates ancient parchment, with a white-stamped logo to add a touch of lightness and delicacy.
